Not for paleo lovers! Looking for a snack that has no artificial colours or flavours, and that will probably become a family favourite? This recipe is so easy to make, and so delicious!
Some people think Naturopaths shouldn't recommend indulgent treats, but as long as they're eaten in moderation (eg 1 slice daily), along with a nutritious and healthy diet, snacks like these can be a part of enjoyable eating. Just avoid this recipe if you're thoroughly paleo, dairy free or nut intolerant. For gluten free, see the alternatives to oats. To avoid unpleasant bloating from dried fruits, make sure you use sulphite/preservative free types, usually available at your health shop or organic shop. And to make the snack even healthier, go for organic nuts, grains, seeds and fruits. Enjoy!
